Men are from Mars...Women are from....?

After watching a video about the differences between men and women, it got me to thinking about my own relationship with my husband and our roles in our relationship. After 8 years of marriage, I know he "gets me", but I know we're different. Men can be so content in themselves and who they are. Rarely (if ever) do you see a group of men asking if their jeans make them "look fat", or if their shirts are too tight. Men rarely gossip. At my job, men typically leave once a group of women get to talking. Men aren't afraid to give another person a compliment ("nice shoes, man. where'd you get them?). I have always felt that the mister has a "tune out" button that can selectively hear the parts of my conversations that he wants to hear, leaving the rest unheard. Now, after watching the video, I'm more convinced that we're just wired differently.
On a side note: What does it really mean for a man to "protect" you?
